Preparing for your consultation
- Avoid shaving and waxing, let hair grow at least 1/8 inch so we can perform a sample treatment, for some clients that may be 2-4 days of hair growth
- Start hydrating at least 48 hours in advance
- Exfoliate the day before
- Moisturize before your appointment
- Arrive 5-10 minutes early to find parking and complete the medical intake form
Electrolysis post-care
- Keep your skin clean
- Avoid makeup for 24 hours to reduce the risk of a breakout
- Avoid scented moisturizers
- Avoid exfoliating scrubs for 72 hours
- Avoid using petroleum-based products, coconut oil and cocoa butter on treated area
- Aloe vera or arnica gel may be used on skin post treatment
- If needed, ice the area 10 seconds on 10 seconds off to avoid ice burn
*All elective aesthetic and medical treatments have a healing phase.
